Bernice Lauff

Bernice Wolfe Lauff, 82, of Brackenridge, and formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2017. She was born in Brackenridge on April 18, 1935, to the late Robert & Leetha Anthony Wolfe, she was a graduate of Har-Brack High School and worked in the kitchen of Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington for 20 years, retiring in 1996. Mrs. Lauff enjoyed playing Monopoly, Bingo and Pokeno. She loved the outdoors, going to her camp in Marienville and riding her quad with her dog, Pekin. She is survived by her children, William Samuel Lauff, of Brackenridge and Lori Ann (significant other, Richard Schuffert) Daniel of Lower Burrell; and two granddaughters, Stephanie (Stephen) Ward and Chelsie Eshelman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Lauff on April 9, 2003, her son, Mark Lauff on May 24, 2011; and her siblings, William, Franklin, and Ronald Wolfe and Arlene Misera. Viewing will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday. Rev. Dean Ward will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
