Anthony Puglisi Obituary

Anthony P. Puglisi, 63, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

He was born April 2, 1954 in New Kensington to Ellen Cowan Puglisi Straub of Lower Burrell and the late Paul Puglisi, and was a 1972 graduate of Valley High School. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

Anthony was a secondary education teacher for Sacred Heart Catholic High School and also taught at Highlands High School.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a step-brother, Thomas Straub of New Kensington; and many cousins.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Harry Straub.

Services will be private and were entrusted to ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., of New Kensington.
