Amber Cowen

Amber Lynn Cowen, 33, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was born July 9, 1983, in New Kensington to Glenn R. (Brenda) Cowen Jr. of New Kensington and Kimberly R. Powell of Arnold.  She was a 2002 graduate of Valley High School in New Kensington and attended Carlow College. Also surviving are her son, Armani R. Mills, age 8; and her brothers, Glenn R. Cowen III of Arnold and Tyler J. Cowen of New Kensington. She enjoyed spending time with her son more than anything. Viewing will be on Friday (May 12) from 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 10 AM.  Rev. Dean Ward, pastor of The River - A Community Church, will officiate.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help defray funeral costs, and/or to establish a college fund for Armani, will be appreciated.  To leave an online condolence visit www.rossgwalker.com
